So I haven't really gotten any in a while, and I haven't had a gf for a couple years. I think being so lonely makes all my feelings be bottled up and I can't get this horny-ness out of my system, lately I've been jerking off multiple times a day and looking at porn for maybe a couple hours a day for the past while now. So am I addicted to porn and will it never go away until if I can get a gf and start having sex again then I won't always have it on my mind?

What the other ladies said. Might be a good idea to seek some counselling too. A psychologist will be able to help you work through if it is actually a legitimate problem. And if it is then you will be in the right place to get the help you need :)

There are scientific studies on the correlation between porn and dopamine levels - you can google this. I’m not a doctor or therapist (and I agree with other comments suggesting it wouldn’t hurt to go see someone), but I think you are probably relying on porn for feelings of connection so sorely missing from your life. Don’t be embarrassed, we’re living in a crazy time in human history - this is happening to lots of other people. I won’t suggest you stop looking at porn, but I do think that by going out to do social things (join a sports group - lazy dudes playing football etc.), will make you feel connected in a way you clearly not, at the moment. You already know what you need. You can still watch porn AND add social events into your life. If you persist, eventually you won’t need the porn as much.
