So I post pictures of my cock elsewhere and this girl messaged me saying she wanted to chat. She sent me a link to a gallery with about a dozen pictures of her. She is pretty cute so messaged her back. We have gone back in forth a bit, just chit chat. I asked her if she has ever had a penis as big of mine and she said "not even close."

Either way, I asked to see some pictures of her naked and she hasn't responded yet. I was able to reverse image search and find out her full name and a social media account.

Do you guys think she's legit? If so, she is quite naive as I could expose her if I wanted (not gonna do that), I'm just saying I could. Or is it someone else and if so to what gain do they have in impersonating her?

She might be legit, but odds are equally high that you're being catfished. There are tons of men on here and elsewhere who pretend to be women to get attention and dick pics from men. Some folks who catfish it seems like they have some fucked up shit in their head, where they just want attention. Doesn't matter if they hurt, lie, manipulate to get it.

Could always start by asking her name, if she hasn't given it. See if it matches the social media. Also could ask to video chat, or to be sent a picture with something hand written, that you pick (so not easy to just take from someone's social media gallery).

Who's to say? When you send dick pics to a stranger online, all bets are off really.

If it walks like a cat, and smells like a fish, it might just be a catfish.

How much do you know about who she really is, and what parts of that are verifiable? Try to speak to her on a video call or at least on the phone at some point if there's something there you want to explore.

Typically catfishers try to get their victims to send them nude pics or videos that include the victims face and then blackmail them by threatening to send the media to the victims family or friends unless they receive money.

You should try to avoid including identifiable info in nude pics, even if you're sending them to someone you're currently in a relationship with, as things could go south if you break up.

Kind of sounds like you’re being baited. Lots of guys use female accounts/photos to obtain male nudes, either for themselves or to share with others. Guys here ask women to help them do this quite often. It’s against the TOS. It’s a crappy thing to do to someone. Baiters like the sexual thrill.

You never know. Catfishers tend to go more for an emotional hit. They can go for years posing as someone else. They can get your pics, your money, as well as your heart.

Either way, FaceTime is your friend. No nudity before verifying their identity. And if you do send nudes, never include your face or identifying marks (unless you truly don’t care). But it’s really up to you.

Btw, did you have her consent to reverse image her gallery to identify her and trace her social media account? That's a real life infringement of privacy.

I don't know if she's catfishing you or not, it seems pretty probable given the circumstances, but maybe not.

If your main clue is that she hasn't sent you any pictures, maybe its because you could expose her and she's aware of that. At this point, though, I'm not really sure what you would be exposing about her. Sounds like she has more ammo to expose you.

I think that in general you should start with the assumption that anyone you talk with on the internet is not being honest, may be trying to manipulate you, or is just lying for fun. I would trust anyone on the internet until you've been talking to them over a long period of time and they've given you reasons to trust them. And even then its a gamble.

I have talked with a lot of “girls” on internet due my cock and can say that the probability of the “girl” be actually a guy is > 80%. Sometimes I just play the game and I send some pics anyway, cause I’m horny, etc. But there are signals you should note that indicates that you are being cat-fished, like: if the “girl” last to much to answer you or if “she” answer immediately every time, or if she send u a lot of pics (usually they send pics of different girls with no face and it’s easy to note the difference in their bodies, perhaps they think that we are idiots), or if you ask for a specific pic for proving and “she” becomes aggressive. All these things are signals. If I remember more I come here to complete the answer.

As I understand it, the woman gave him access to her gallery of pics but just hasn’t sent him nude pics of herself, quite sensibly. The OP has reverse imaged her pics which point to one woman, he knows her identity now, her social media account, her “full name”. He could easily find her address too. Isn’t that a more serious intrusion? No particular signs of catfishing here, just a suspicion. Yes, it's a possibility, but not sure why that would justify what is a real infringement of privacy from his side. He did not have her consent to investigate and trace back to her real identity.

This is why you don't "meet" people on the internet and instead opt to meet those in the real world. Disregarding this particular individual you are discussing here, there are a ton of people on the internet trolling for a huge variety of reasons.

Some people do stuff like this out of boredom and loneliness, they aren't necessarily bad people but are using you or others to fill in some sort of void that they have.

Others may do stuff like this to get nudes, dick pics, etc. These people know what they are doing and will post as a hot woman in order to acquire said pictures. It's pretty manipulative but really isn't that hard to spot.

Worst case scenario, which I really don't think you should worry about, is when people do stuff like this to scam you out of money or blackmail you in someway. Again, this is pretty easy to spot.

Chances are this person you are speaking to is not really the person you are seeing in the photos. Attractive women don't have to use the internet to meet men, let alone to get dick pictures and all that. The sooner you realize this the sooner you can avoid wasting your time with online nonsense. As I had mentioned earlier, you are far better off just meeting people in the real world and avoiding the internet to meet people, as there are just way too many people trolling out there now.

A couple months ago I had gotten a number from an online dating site from a reasonably attractive woman in her early 20s. We were texting back and forth a bit and it just ended up being a bait to get me to sign up for some pay to watch online cam show. She had even gone as far as taking a picture of herself topless with my name written on a piece of paper. Stuff like this is very common.

I hate it when I get hatfished. When he wears a hat in every photo only to find out he is merely insecure about his baldness. I mean wearing the ball cap in your after shower in a towel photo was the dead give away. It happens to the best of us.

That’s typical of a scammer, not a catfish. Catfish scammer maybe, but not solely a catfish.

Anyway... I don’t really think I have enough information for a fair assessment. But if someone keeps making excuses to not send pics, video chat, Skype or meet then chances are high they are a catfish. I was catfished pretty bad once. It feels pretty terrible.

Legit what? Did she ask for anything from you?

Given what you've told us, no, you are not being catfished yet. Yet.

I suggest that posting dick pics is not a good way to meet women.
