I'm all for discussing it, however, in the years that I have been here, I've only within the last week, actually had a question answered, pleasantly.

When I first joined I tried to be pleasant and informative in circumcision threads, but then I realised that very few people in the threads want to hear someone else's opinion. Oh well. I did have a few good exchanges with people, and I'm pretty sure they would agree. Someone advised me to write a user's guide to foreskin for those bereft of it. Stranger books have been written.

I'm intrigued by the natural form, because I don't have any experience.

Because the penis is normally hidden, people wonder "what does he have that I don't have". Size, shape, etc.

Because penis is (rightly or wrongly) one of the defining factors of masculinity/virility, it is normal for any/all men to wonder whether different types of penises are better or not. Discussions only talk about size because circumcision or foreskin appearance is taboo. The internet has allowed those taboo discussions to finally come out.

Circumcsion is cosmetic surgery that is integral part of the penis. It modifies the penis appearance and how you handle it, how it feels in underwear and even how you handle it after pissing.

So it is very relevant in a penis discussion forum. The problem is that some are on a crusade to portray it as mutilation for a number of reasons.

If you are happy with your penis, you tend to defend the penis type that you have because in the end, you defend what makes you a man.

I never knew people were this pre-occupied about circumcision. It's quite funny to hear that most U.S. males are circumcised, lol!

What was also strange was learning that a woman would not date a guy who was uncut....wow.

True, and great point. However, when you're innocently looking at a posting about a nude celeb, and someone pops in with a "he's hot, except too bad he's mutilated" (yeah, that's real, I can dig it up it i REALLY have to) and then a whole circ/anti-circ irrational feud breaks out... :wink:

So true, looking at a harmless thread and stumbling into it is the worse.
