The older I get the more I like amateur or at least less flashy production. When amateurs don’t act and just go with it it’s the hottest. There’s some really hot Brazilian porn that’s produced but seems more natural. But only when they don’t overdo it on the performance.
I think you can be a pro but amateur is your style. Guess it depends on how well known they are more than anything. There’ll still be proper stars in produced scenes I think. But there’s also a huge net of pretty well known ‘stars’ with their own following. I used to know all the male stars by name, lol. But only kept up until a few years ago. I still prefer knowing the people im watching.

Interesting take. I think about it the same as watching athletes play sports. People tune in to watch endowed and talented people with the necessary physique, form and abilities to play the game really well and it’s impressive and exciting to watch. Same with amateur porn. We wouldn’t like it as much or find the scenes so hot if they were average people having average sex the same way most of our neighbours and friends do. We seek the best amateurs like in sports.
Back to the original problem, the definition of pro vs amateur from sports can’t seem to apply because so few people who make lots of videos make a living from that activity. Also, production / feature length « pro » porn films now can be shot by amateurs in their homes with a minimal investment in camera + lighting etc. So they produce their own films.
Just to blur the line even more, one of OUR FAMOUS LPSG members « Quercusone », appears in « Well Hung Amateurs 21 » but since then, mainly uploads his exceptional dick pics.
