America is a weird entity with a fractured sense of identity. I believe the real reason you guys have so much trouble over there is because so few of you are satisfied with just being American. I always see so many Americans (you see them here too) identifying with nations and people they don't belong to. Americans should just be happy being Americans, not hyphenated similar to Australians. It would solve a lot of problems. American people talk a big game about diversity and multiculturalism. But I don't think i've ever seen another country where people are so insistent on being self-segregated culturally. Need to focus on fixing that, it's a recipe for disaster.
