There many, many strero types about Australians, all of which I'm going to exploit to the fullest when I move to America.
If Texas didn't need help before I arrived it is sure as hell going to need it after I get there.

Texas is a country unto itself. They're only a state out of convenience. I think you'll find Texas fascinating.

Quite a riot, hotbtminla.

Cheers, rubi. I can't take credit for writing that (got it from a UK friend), but nearly pissed myself when I read it. Especially the "minding the Gappe bats" part. I don't know what I find funnier, the visual or the idea of giant French bats swarming in the Tube. :biggrin1:

His locale has changed but his Head of State remains the same. It's not necessary to renounce one's heritage by moving.

By way of illustration; you could go live in another country, you'll still be an ass.

Austin Powers of course. Duh!
Shoe shine Gov-na?

I like the Brit claim that American's lay claim to many of their inventions. I'd like to see a list of those inventions.

The English I've met while in Atlanta and knew them for years were much more polite than my American brethren. They didn't care for the summer heat.

Stereotypes I have of the Brits:
Better educated than Americans.
Very high tech.
Polite/proper
Love the queen and royalty
Say "bloody" when they are mad.
Out going and more open than most
Christian culture
Key ally to America
Sometimes don't care for American foreign policy even if backed by their own government. (and that's okay because it's a freedom)
Somewhat envious of a few American "things", yet comfortable with the rich history they have that we don't.
Perhaps one of those things is the immense opportunity in America.
Somewhat annoyed at times that GBR is viewed as "just going along" with America - too closely aligned for some there.

I don't think America or Americans appreciate what an important alliance GBR is, and that's sad or too bad and our fault.
