I was recently in America, and it struck me how incredibly common it was to see Magnums and Magnum XLs in the stores over there. It reminded me (and kinda made some sense of the fact) of how often I've seen people recommend them within the forums here.
What's interesting is that in Europe, it's actually comparatively very tricky to get hold of a larger fitting condom. I'm not by any means a jumbo, and can just about squeeze my todger into a normal size European condom, but prefer the comfort of larger fitting so buy them whenver possible. But here, that means going into a specific store (Sex shop, basically) to get hold of them.
I didn't have a chance to buy any Magnums or XLs while I was over, but I did try to use a regular Trojan - and for the first time in my life, try as I did, I physically couldn't unroll it onto my dick.
So I'm wondering - is the average condom size smaller in the US? Which would both explain my experience with the Trojan, and also might explain why larger fitting are so commonly seen - i.e. if the condoms are smaller, a bigger proportion of guys need the Magnums and XLs?
