Hey any hotel is gay in Amsterdam, your best best is to go with a chain, as I've found the ones that market themselves as gay normally charge a premium. No-one will give you a 2nd glance asking for a double bed for 2 guys in any hotel in Amsterdam.
I stayed at this place when I was in Amsterdam a couple years ago. Its not a gay hotel per say, but all hotels in Amsterdam are gay friendly. Its on one of the canals about a 15 minute walk from the city center. The walk at night back to the hotel was breathtaking.....the beauty of the lights reflecting off the water. It took us 45 minutes because we would just stop and stare slackjawed.

Looks like a lovely hotel, read it and I think you can trust it. I know a few spots of Amsterdam by name and those spots mentioned on the site are very good. Although I don't live that far from Amsterdam, but never been there. But I have a few friends from the Netherlands and if you visit Amsterdam, stay in the center, there is a lot to do. A few days staying there is good because it is a busy city.
And maybe cool to know, this thursday it's "koningendag" (queensday), and whole Netherlands celebrate that! Very nice. Much to do then
