But following on from the row over the Vogue King Kong fiasco:

We're not particularly Politically Correct, but as a mixed race couple who have each had a number of previous partners of many different races, we like to think we're sensitive to the negative effects of racism (but would welcome your views - either positive or negative).

We both do find this amusing, though:

I still have dial up, and I'm not going to wait hours for it to download. Funny is context. And funny can be intent. Racism is also about intent. Lenny Bruce did a bunch of routines using the Word, and by the way he shaped it, tried to show its impact is clearly between the sayer and the listener. But Lenny Bruce never counted on Hip Hopand Gangsta rap to create new problems with the cause and effect and subject and verb.
