wesbjack: i agree its outrageous. Would you walk up to a big-breasted (or even a big-haired) woman and tell her to put it away? Or to a deformed person whose too-short limb is exposed? unless you are flaunting it (half-way down a pair of too-tight jeans, you know the type), what would he have you do?
most straight men don't give 1 second of eye-to-eye contact to other men, much less look at crotches. What's he doing looking at yours? Scoping out the average on-campus endowment?

bklynbigballs: My take on the situation is that there are a lot of people -- people who have never seen a porn video or don't pay attention while in the lockerroom, for instance -- who assume that there's no such thing as a penis that is THAT big. Therefore, to them, a huge bulge could only belong to someone stuffing their pants for attention. That's why the guy was like, "Keep away from my daughter!" Not because he thought the penis was dangerous, but because he assumed that anyone who would purposefully display a bulge like that must be a pervert/rapist.

Since we're using the breast metaphor, I had a friend in high school who had huge breasts. She kept them covered up because she was self conscious and EVERYONE assumed she was stuffing their bra...and using a LOT of Kleenex. Subsequently she got this reputation as this total predatory whore. I think the person who started this thread is the victim of something similar here.

SpeedoGuy: I had similar situation when I finished a swim workout and took a dip in the club's co-ed jacuzzi. Although I tried to be discrete, I caught the attention of a group of adolescent girls who stared at my speedo wide-eyed as I set my towel down and discretely settled into the bubbling water. Their 40ish mother glared and glared at me with the evil eye as if I were parading around nude. I didn't feel guilty at all, though. I wasn't flaunting in the least and did what I could to avoid drawning attention. What am I supposed to do? Skulk off to the men's shower? The problem was hers, not mine.

I've had similar experiences. I remember one from three years ago. I was warking with a couple other guys reroofing a house. This was the first of August and hot as hell and I wasn't about to wear jeans when it's scorching up on a roof top. I was wearing shorts and boxers and I guess I was showing off a little too much because the owner called me down and told me that she was offended and disgusted and that I should be ashamed of my self. Then the bitch called my boss and complained. She made it sound like I was nude up there. Very embarassing, but happens to the best of us.

Yeah he was aware of my endowment, he's the one I get it from. He asked me to wear jeans but I said that it was hotter than Hades up there and I wouldn't. In the end we compromised, I wore boxer-briefs under my shorts.
