Anal Lubes?

is it ok to use soap as anal lube?
or lotion?
for the first time, i decided to stick my finger up my butt whilst in the shower. or at least try, but it wasn't happening.
my roomate has this lotion called lubriderm, i wonder if that would work and if its safe?
tonight when i get in the shower, i'm gonna give it another try. i think i'm gonna have fun with anal masturbation. i though i would take some type of stick and put a condom on it, lube it and try put it up there. (and film it for x tube).

for instance i could take a disposable razor (and remove the blade part) and use that.
any ideas?

Although a soapy finger will slide in easily I think using soap as a lube would make you sore, although most people would probably say body lotion isn't the best thing to use I have on occasion when I didn't have any lube just used any old body cream that was about and it didn't make me sore.

Soap can dry your skin. That's not so great, especially inside your hole. Body lotions can work, but there are any number of good inexpensive lubes like Astroglide, Wet, Friction, etc. that are made for that sort of thing.

If you're just fingering yourself, baby oil or even olive/corn oil works well.

i've got some aloe lotion. so hopefully that will work well inside my ass?
i'm just giving it a try, i might not like it. we'll see.
