I heard a rumor about that, but I don't think it's true.
Just don't do it in public and you'll be fine.
I was planning on bringing my firearms and sidearms in to the country as well.
Got that right, Monster. And I should be soo scared. My fbuddies came over to watch both games this afternoon and celebrate my 39th BD. One of gifts was a dildo. Regarded it more or less as a gag gift cause they know I won't bottom for anyone. On the other hand, maybe it was a suggestion. Am not sure of the current sodomy law, but do know that it's been both enforced and challenged in the courts in recent years. Advice: Just don't get caught.
Actually the sodomy law is still there because Texas has such a high number sexual assaults.I wonder how they thought they where going to enforce such laws?
Post peeping toms outside peoples bedroom windows?

It is so hard to prove rape in Texas that the only way to make the charge stick is too prove sodomy which the women -or man-(usually a boy)cannot give consent for.
I feel like it should be overlooked for people who want to do it.
I was very concerned about this law possibly being overturned in Texas.
Some men there are comfortable with the idea of rape and knowing they will get away with it.
It may not be fair that gay people would be oppressed but I think the law is still necessary in Texas.

Weapons of Muff Destruction?Well, they've been looking for the WMD for some time.
I'm sure it was mostly rapists they must have let out then. It's amazing how many American citizens have so little understanding of how our system of jurisprudence actually functions.
Obviously I have had a lot of other things to focus on.I'm not an attorney so I do not take note of every new legal decision.
The state law was challenged all the way up to the Supreme Court of the United States of America in the Lawrence vs. Texas case. In 2003, the Court issued a ruling in the matter which overturned the conviction and established that no state can prosecute anyone under such a statute. The decision not only freed gays in Texas from such stupidity, but in the entire USA.

Why don't you look up how many freaking rapists got off then?
I will be contacting RAINN to see what effect this had.
If purchased out of state, an individual could legally own up to and including 5 dildoes for personal use. Owning 6 or more was considered evidence of "possession with intent to deliver."
No joke. That's the way the laws were actually structured.
anal sex and oral sex are illegal in most states because it falls under sodomy.
No shit. You just have to kind of wonder what it was like when the Texas legislature hammered out the details on this one:That does sound like a joke. Someone goes into a shop and buys 6 dildoes, and the cops are following. Once you cross state lines he pulls you over and busts you for possession of 6 didoes. lmao
If you see the cop coming you could fling one out the window.
I'm not sure that's quite accurate that oral and anal are illegal in most states. The laws are as variable as they are stupid; in some states, it depends upon whether it's same-gender people doing it, in some states, it depends upon whether or not they are married, in some states, it depends on how old they are.If that were the case then why are people who make porn not arrested? Are they making it in the states where it's legal? It would have to be only vaginal porn.
:biggrin1: Or do as another famous Texan does... use diversionary tactics to deflect attention away from your crimes.Just wear a cowboy hat and chaps, and no one will notice that dildo in your ass.
No shit. You just have to kind of wonder what it was like when the Texas legislature hammered out the details on this one:
"Should it depend on the size?"
"No, it shouldn't; a 14" double-header counts the same as a 4-incher."
"Ok, well, how many is too many dildoes?"
"One is too many."
"How about if we make it total combined inches? No more than 35 inches total? That way, they could have several small ones, or just a couple of big ones..."
"No, let's make it 4."
"An odd number would be better. 3."
"Well, now, I can think of 3 places a woman could hide some o' them dill-doos. Let's say 5's the limit, 6 is intent to distribute."
"Fair enough. So, we're all agreed, I think. Purchase or sale of dildoes in the great state of Texas shall henceforth be illegal, and possession limited to 5. All in favor?"

Well, no, it's not what he said. The point I'm trying to make is that saying "oral and anal sex are illegal in most states" is not accurate, because the state laws are so varied (even though many of those laws were invalidated by the Lawrence case.)That's what the other guy said. I didn't think so anymore, but in some states it's still illegal for men and women to live together without being married; laws they never remove from the books. My dad said people used to get arrested for living together in the 1940's. They weren't thrown in jail or anything, but fined and told to live apart. The neighbors would usually turn them in.
I wonder how they thought they where going to enforce such laws?

Texas legislates unenforcable morality not because they actually have a strong feelings against sodomy but primarily because politians in the name of morality manipulate hatred against easy targets to their own advantage.
