I agree with all except the last bit. If you live in a part of the world where tap water consistently meets WHO standards it should be safe. On the other hand faecal contamination of food and bugs caught via rimming are not unheard of in the developed world.

I'm not a big fan of the enema anyways, sometimes one might leak before or during sex if traces of enema remain. Washing the butt crack during a bath or shower or, if desired, immediately before sex should suffice.
