You missed my point. Did he make the statement because he truly believes the violence has reaching a breaking point, and he’s trying to come across as a “healer?” Or is he saying it because his advisors are telling him to, and he used the opportunity to take a swipe at trump? If he was being genuine in calling for peace, everyone would agree. He might win some Independents over (still might).
He didn’t go high. He went low, and basically lost some potential gain with the messaging because it comes across as a political jab. It’s almost as if he begrudgingly had to finally come out and make a statement (haven’t seen him say anything in public, or from the basement, but I may have missed it), and he interjected the jabs to take the attention off the delayed response.

The current discussion is about Biden. And his statement that YOU posted. That said, both candidates have major issues with their communications skills, and both have had EVERY word parsed by both sides. I am sure we will have much, much fodder coming from the debates.

They know everything he touches either dies or is corrupted. So yes do not come. Not sure in my lifetime when state and local officials said to the president do not come. But he wants a Klan rally in a must-win state so he will go. And Most sexual predators don’t understand phrases like “stay away,” so this is unsurprising.
Some people are taken into custody with no shots fired while others get 8 bullets in the back.

About 93 percent of the racial-justice protests that swept the United States this summer remained peaceful and nondestructive, according to a report released Thursday, with the violence and property damage that has dominated political discourse constituting only a minute portion of the thousands of demonstrations that followed the killing of George Floyd in May.
The report, produced by the nonprofit Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project, also concluded that an escalation in the government response to protests and a sharp uptick in extremist activity means the United States faces a growing risk of “political violence and instability” ahead of the 2020 election.
ACLED, which monitors war zones and political upheaval around the world, launched the US Crisis Monitor report with Princeton University’s Bridging Divides Initiative. Using media accounts and other public information, the report identified 7,750 protests from May 26 through Aug. 22 that were linked to the Black Lives Matter movement. The protests took place in 2,400 locations across all 50 states and the District.

I don't think anyone is condoning violence. But a 93% to 7% disparity is certainly enough to dispell any misleading generalities about the recent racial-justice protests.

Kyle Rittenhouse's right- wing supporters raised $2 million in order to bail him out of jail on Nov. 20, 2020 - with funds largely coming from Mike Lindell, better known as the My Pillow Guy, and actor Rick Schroeder. Numerous right-wing grifters, like the Trumpian "Build the Wall" scammers, realized the pretext of raising funds for Rittenhouse's legal costs was a means by which they could, in part, enrich themselves. DailyBeast expose revealed John Pierce, and separate a law firm he owned, were heavily indebted and his alleged misuse of foundation's funds for debt payment - which led to his resignation from the Kenosha killer's defense team Sept. 5, 2020.
