I'm sure this news has been met with quiet relief among liberal politicians, and organizations.
I could care less.
The only thing of interest in his passing is the claim that it was natural causes.
While, from a certain perspective, it is perfectly natural to die when you get run over by a bus... or shoot a bullet thru your own brain... in reality there is no such thing as a "natural cause" of death at age 43.
Either he had a heart attack ( not surprising given his overwrought personality ) due to stress, bad living and a horrible diet...
Or he had a disease, and any disease that kills you at 43 is an outlier... certainly not "natural".
I can't help but wonder if he would be alive today if we had National healthcare?
Shirley Sherrod, who was a primary target of Andrew Breitbart's criticism, released the following statement on the conservative media icon's death:
"The news of Mr. Breitbart's death came as a surprise to me when I was informed of it this morning. My prayers go out to Mr. Breitbart's family as they cope through this very difficult time." talkingpointsmemo.com
Bravo Shirley, stay classy.
Maybe he had a fatal attack of conscience.
Whatever your political thoughts about the man, a wife and 4 children have lost the focal point of their lives. I don't think the world will stop revolving if the snideness rests for at least 24 hours.
He was a douchebag for money not unlike Rush............not necessarily a bad thing.
You are probably right. It may be lowbrow to call Mr. Breitbart names like "villain", "big ass motherfucker", “duplicitous bastard”, “prick” or "a special pile of human excrement”. Of course that's precisely what he called Ted Kennedy within hours of Kennedy's death.
I wish only peace for his loved ones, but as none of them will ever read this: politics aside, he was not a good man.
...and in other news...
I am confused... he died today? My dad was telling me just last night that he was going to be releasing something today at noon or something.
You may not like the guy, but that just might be too soon.
In the politics forum here? Very rare that people can pull that off around here.:frown1:
Apart from that I thought a link might be nice

Like him or not have respect even if he didn't always do the same for others. Remember when your loved 1 dies you wouldn't want people bad mouthing them.
Classless disregard for the "Golden Rule".
It's far more likely that the Kennedy family would have read what he wrote about Senator Kennedy than that Brietbart's family will read any of this. What he did to Shirley Sherrod, IF INTENTIONAL, was pure evil.
A new blog coming out tomorrow, like a drudge report 2.0
I liked when he did the crying video Leave Brittney Alone.
Well honestly , I canot say I will lose sleep over his passing or even shed a tear. I do however feel sorry and send sympathetic feelings to the souls who had the ambiguous fortune of being related to him or friends with him.
He was quite evil in his brand of yellow journalism and what she did to Sherrod was immoral and criminal and I DO HOPE she goes forward with her defamation suit and gets a chunk of his estate.
It can be his contribution for the lack of an appropriate death tax, something he railed like a rabid dog against !!! lol
