No. I'm black and I'm not about to "integrate" into Japanese culture by changing my appearance, interests, and activities I participate in just so I can "live my best life." Your best live shouldn't involve adopting someone else's culture. That's just weird. It's not wrong to say that he's done when he has and I'm not bashing him.
