He went through some stuff playing spider man. An entire relationship and breakup. He wanted his version of spider man and they refused so I think now he takes on roles where he can be the character. I think he's in a very interesting place in life especially after losing his mother.I haven’t paid much attention to his interviews over the last several years. I have noticed that he’s gotten less caught up in trying to exude prototypical American masculinity and is generally more goofy post his Spider-Man tenure. I don’t know if that’s a reflection of comfort embracing queerness or gender/sexual fluidity or placement in the gender, sexual, affection, romantic, comfort, emotion, commitment spectrum or if he’s simply being himself more nowadays.
