I encourage anyone with an open mind to take a close look at this guy. He is so practical and makes so much sense, it's truly refreshing. He's not a Trump basher, just focused on how to solve our problems. You can't help but to be impressed.

For what problems does he have the solutions? Giving everyone free money doesn’t sound real practical.

Why not? We give free money to corporations, foreign governments ... there are subsidies all over the place and the some of the largest doled out by republicans.

I'm not an advocate for Yang's Universal Basic Incomebut there have been dumber government giveaways in my opinion.

As @gr8gatsby said, there isn't a world of difference from a practicality perspective in giving a lot of people a little money as compared to giving a few people a lot of money.

UBI isn't an alien concept and those who support it tend to fall on both sides of the political spectrum.

I agree, so why are the Farmers getting more "free money" than the auto Bailout? The Automobile companies repaid the money. The Farmers don't have to. :
Trump’s $28 Billion Bet That Rural America Will Stick With Him
Farmers caught in the trade war have become dependent on government payments.
U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue was fielding questions at a farm show in Decatur, Ill., in late August when his boss rang his cellphone. Perdue put the call on speaker and placed it next to the microphone so the crowd could hear Donald Trump speak. During the almost seven-minute call the president defended his handling of the trade conflict with China, which has cut off American farmers from one of their most important export markets. Yet he was quick to remind them that he’s tried to salve their pain. “I sometimes see where these horrible dishonest reporters will say that ‘oh jeez, the farmers are upset.’ Well, they can’t be too upset, because I gave them $12 billion and I gave them $16 billion this year,” said Trump, who then added, “I hope you like me even better than you did in ’16.

Already asked this question (still waiting on an answer)

Why aren't the same Republicans who griped about the auto bailout as mad ( or even a little bit mad) about the farmer bailout?

In which city is GM headquartered?

Do you need to ask more?

It's not free money. It's money from large tech companies that have not been paying any taxes. So instead of their tax money going to the government and then trickling down to us, it comes to us, and trickles UP.

So adding to the list of dumb government giveaways is a good idea? Also, please name the corporations getting free money with specifics, please. I want to know.

There is an article in the New Republic that states that Amazon got $1 billion in tax subsidies from the government.

Didn't Yang have the idea of decriminalizing opiates? That would be a very, very bad idea. It's illegal now and we can barely keep up with the addictions. Basically, that's what killed any interest might've had in his candidacy.
