Trump has asked that all countries in Europe contribute to NATO, currently four countries do have the asked for 2% of GDP, the UK is one of them, German is hoping to get up to 1.4 this coming budget - subsidised protection!
The UK spends 0.7% of its GDP on overseas aid - Germany 0.4%
so who isnt6 pulling their weight... and hey, remember Koln?

right, Germany pays less then 2% for its military... so what? If we would spend 2%, the NATO wouldn't become any better. Germany still wouldn't send its troops in a war. The USA still would have to do the job, if they want it to be done.
The NATO no longer is a defence alliance, but an American tool to legitimate military strikes.
If the USA wants 2% from Germany, they will have to accept more influence from Germany.

About the 0.7% and 0.4% for aid... their aren't up to date. Plus I doubt the efficiency of these spendings. Often they are related to political and economical interests. The result is wrong spending, or the money goes straight to corrupt people.

"Doubt"? We can immediately say without a doubt he will no more be a leader anymore than his many failed businesses and failed marriages. His international likeability will tank even further than they already are and the same will happen nationally.

I wonder how long it will take for the dictator’s rabble to realize that they were used, and are now no longer necessary or worth paying attention to? I think their Masters have figured out that they really don’t need to deliver anything of substance, e.g. “Jobs” anyway as long as they can provide the red meat of racism and xenophobic enablement.
