I don't dress my dog up, it's not natural. But for some dogs for example it is necessary in very cold wintertime to have coat. So that isn't bad. But giving your dog or cat something on their feet!!! That is bad!!! Because that is the way they loose bodyheat!

I don't get why people do it but prosecuting them for it? Gimme a break. These people should spend more time worrying about what to do with strays, making vaccinations more available and population problems than a bunch of weirdos who put hats on their dogs.

My sister bought my dog two tops/coats. One said Bitch Magnet on it and the other said Bad To Da Bone.

None of them lasted that long because my dog ain't no sissy dog! And he tore them with his muscles. It was funny for about five minutes but then I felt sorry for him because his movements were restricted.

I have a 6lb Shi-Chi, I have to put coats on her in winter time and on cool breezy days. I also have necklace's for her. but nothing else. the necklece's double as a collar though.

Well some dogs definitely do need winter jackets. You can see them shivering in the cold!

But when u start putting boots, hats, dresses etc on your dog u are just being disrespectful. Its not a doll or a fashion accessory. The way bimbos like Paris Hilton carry their tiny dog around & just plonk it down like a handbag just makes my blood boil. Sticking them in bags...how would they like to be stuck in a bag? Quite.

But prosecuted? well it could take up valuable time & resources that could be spent on more serious cases of abuse. Of which there are many.

My sister has one of the most placid lovely cats in the world and at Xmas time

she put a Santa hat on his head for a little while....Only a little while.

Cat weren't bothered, does this mean she should be prosecuted???

Also seems harsh when some little dogs need coats in the cold weather

especially here in Blighty!!
