as i've stated in past threads about downloads, you don't need special dohickies to save these files. every viddy you viddy is temporarily saved in temporary internet files on your harddrive until you log out of the site or shutdown.
where temp. int. files. are depends on your setup. usually under local disk (c) documents and settings, (user), local settings, then temp internet files. just copy them to another location and view (you may need to download viewer software for flv files).
how do u find the files? easy. in start menu go to programs, accessories, etc. and find windows explorer, the old split screen window that we "old guys" used to use in windows 95 to manage files.
Thanks b.c.-
Absolutely correct- and something that I had overlooked..
This 'oldie' now sees with WinExpl. maybe a search for .flv files
in Temp. Internet folder, would allow you to pick out those
previously viewed vid files, and simply copy to Folder of choice.
(This may work on some cases but recall impossible for Xtube vids)
* Update- Just tried, problem is search filter won't pick out the XXX video media files- due to coding for anti-Leeching *
So not,
Simple enough and possibly a bit cumbersome for many looking at a more automated DL interface, when browsing with Inet Explorer-
As Noted below by others:
Seems RealPlayer /or Flash Video Resources- but both have limits
My Prior -When using FireFox I found FlashGot, as simplest DL tool.
Any vid media incl. .flv plays great on the free VLC media player
