Bill Richardson, just designated by Obama to be Commerce Secretary is being investigated by the FBI for corruption while Governor of New Mexico. There's a Grand Jury in place already.

    Bloomberg.com: Worldwide

Obama promised "Change" yet he is naming all these Clinton-era characters to his administration--Rahm Emmanuel, Hillary Clinton, Bill Richardson, Eric Holder, etc.

Is it any wonder that the rats from the scandal-prone Clinton administration are starting to leave their droppings all over the "Office of the President-Elect"?

Big deal. George Bush populated his cabinet with people who were in Poppy Bush and Reagan's cabinet. So where's all the anguish about that?

Bush even picked Ashcroft, a guy who was running for a Senate seat in Missouri who lost to a dead guy. The people of that state so disliked Ashcroft they voted for a dead guy.

    "I'm a uniter, not a divider." W.

The country is more polarized now than it ever has been (imho)...so I guess Bush didn't succeed on that point, either.

Yeah, With so many dead from his misinformation and "lack of intelligence", he missed that mark, one of the key phrases in his first election campaign--the one he really didn't win (he was appointed).

No "change"? He forgot to clean up the slime I suppose.

Toward the end of the Bloomberg News article is this paragraph:

"In September 2007, CDR settled allegations by the SEC that it committed securities fraud for failing to disclose that it received secret fees on Florida bond deals from New York-based American International Group Inc., the insurer rescued this year by the Federal Reserve in Washington. CDR and AIG neither admitted nor denied wrongdoing."

In would appear that any institution that arranged a home mortgage since 1986 might be culpable of unfair lending practices. Big whoop.

Ya know, from what I hear there are hoards of Communists at every level of government, in all States, and a huge concentration of them run the entertainment and sports industries. And I also hear there are abolitionists peppered throughout the Confederacy intent upon The South losing the war!

What is the world coming to?

It's not Richardson that's being investigated. Per your source:

    • "The grand jury in Albuquerque is looking into Beverly Hills, California-based CDR Financial Products Inc."
    • “They’re looking at everything related to CDR,” William Sisneros, the finance agency’s chief executive officer, said of the FBI probe.
CDR was a contributor to Richardson's 2004 presidential campaign.

That was John Ashcroft, not Donald Rumsfeld.

Then again, the things that Bush did promise (such as noninterventionism, or the promise to increase the federal EIC) didn't pan out.

It might turn out to be the case that Obama can't cause change to occur with old hands in the cabinet; on the other hand, it might be that he can cause it to occur more rapidly and efficiently with their experience. Given that Clinton faced a hostile Congress for six of his eight years in office, Obama may find that these old Clintonites want a lot more change than they got to implement the first time around.

In any case, if it turns out that he doesn't deliver change, you should be quite happy. I expect you'll stop complaining after January 20?

Thanks for pointing out my lack of fact. I corrected my post.

And no, on 21 Jan 09, people like Kewlhandle will be complaining about the lack of change.

And I didn't like that movie and think his Chicken Little avatar is slightly symptomatic.

Im so glad with this new "transparent government" BO was talking about is finally coming to fruition. Usually dems get the dead voters to vote. I guess theyve gotten away with it for so long they were able to actually elect a dead person.

You were all duped on the change thing. its ok.

The dems get people to vote, while the repubs try to scare 'em away with bogus claims of voter eligibility.

    Seriously, your rhetoric is tired.

No, the man was so reviled in his own state, that people realized if they voted for the dead man,the democrats would pick another democrat to fill the office.

I suspect it is called "logic".

And seriously, how many original forum topics of political rhetoric have I created? I invite you to look at my post history if you want the truth. Then compare it to 1BiGG1, starinvestor and many other conservatives on this board. If they had an inch of dick for every BS political thread they started, they would be three times as hung as Mandingo.

So yeah... right back at me? Look whose starting it up again? IMO, it's the usual suspects. You included.

Hey, hey, don't be dropping my name as someone who posts BS threads. Just because your brainwashed, liberal nugget doesn't agree with rational thoughts doesn't make my material any less spectacular or accurate.
