That's a bit harsh. But I guess you're taking issue with his assertion that 6.5" is considered big in the real world (outside LPSG). This is exactly what this thread is about. In this place we're so nerdy we discuss penis size constantly and therefore sooner or later we have to examine the statistics. I think that's one of the great functions of this website (and of the PE websites) - it's a reality check. We get to understand how porn exaggerates penis size and how the few porn actors who are much better endowed than average represent a tiny minority. But the penis size numbers that float around in the real world do seem to reflect porn inches and not real ones, so the OP is making an important point.

(edit : But having said the above, I realise that the OP was referring to people on here seeming unimpressed with 7". I know what you mean. The problem is that people come here looking for massive dicks and they just aren't impressed unless it's 9"+. It's a bit of a joke really, but if you stick around long enough you get to filter that crap out and get into conversations with the few who have their feet on the ground.)

I grew up thinking my 6.2" cock was barely average and feared that it would be a disappointment to most girls. That was a completely silly mind set, because I eventually cottoned on to the fact, that although 6.2 doesn't SOUND impressive, it's actually a good bit longer than average. However, I still struggle to get my head around the idea that I was always well endowed, and that's primarily because I was brainwashed to believe that the average was around 6 - 6.5 inches. I now believe that average is a probably good inch less than that.

I think a fun exercise to dispel this kind of thinking is to read back in the history for some big-dick porn sites like monstersofcock.com . When you look at the screencaps and videos that are more recent, you will see the same guys looking way, way bigger than they did when the site had just opened. The difference is that now they do way more post-production and tricks to make them look bigger, while the earlier videos were just single-cam.
In other words, even the guys in porn don't have dicks the size of the guys in porn.

FWIW - My ex wife was a urology nurse. From what she saw and from what the doctor she worked for told her, most dicks are 5 - 5.5 inches. She said she only saw a couple in her whole time there bigger than mine, so anything over 8 inches was really rare in their practice. (Most she saw were soft, but you should have seen my ex. She said most guys got hard when she did their vasectomy prep, so these were the younger, healthier ones.) The doctor said one thing he thought was wrong with the averages is that is usually assumes a normal distribution. In reality, there are far more things that will make a man have an abnormally small or underdeveloped penis that there are that will make a man's penis enormous. The distribution is skewed pretty heavily at its ends - very few of the largest sizes and quite a few that are really small due to medical conditions or birth abnormalities.

I have a much more balanced view now. I wasnt even talking about big dick porn. Just regular. Now I know there is a lot of work that goes into editing. I had one girl tell me my dick was huge when I was a teenager but I assumed she didnt have much experience. It wasnt until more girls saw it that I realized the internet was lieing to me. I think its pretty normal because of porn, but I was pretty embarrassed to even show it to anyone back then.

What is proper? My bone pressed measurement from the top is 7 3/4, and my non bp is around 7. Which is the propernumber? If i sit, and measure from the side, i could get 8 1/4, but that's unrealistic.

Yes, everyone has their own way of measuring. In my opinion, the proper size should be the non-bp, i.e. 7" for you. Hence, I just stay away from numbers.

So long as it's right from the base to the tip on the top side, just indicate the BPness and it's fine. The cheaters are guys who do it from the side, from further off to the side, to practically on their hip. Other guys do it from above, but raise the base on the ruler way up to add another inch (longer hypotenuse.) The worst are the ones who put the ruler underneath -- I'm just shy of 5" from my asshole to the scrotum, then there's a few inches from the scrotum to the base on the penis, so if I measured like those guys I could be over a foot long flaccid.

Personally I think the best, most accurate, reproducible and least subject to external influence measurement is the stretched length. When you stretch it out as far as it will go and measure from the bone, you're just measuring the external penis size. Things like curvature, arousal level, measuring on an angle are all easily controlled for. The BJUI has conclusively shown that stretched length has an extremely strong correlation to the erect length (typically 0.0 to 0.2 inches shorter, though some thicker guys are a bit longer stretched.) Medically verified studies based on stretched length are grouped way more closely than erect length, with the results coming up pretty consistently between 5-5.5" average stretched, while self-reported erect measurements vary so wildly that you can't really compare the studies, so it's a waste of time to compare yourself to those trials.

this is based on the data from the 3300 Italian conscripts study, which I think is the most even sampling of the population we could hope for. Going around just asking people how big their dick is, or making them line up for no other reason than to get their willie measured is really going to skew the people who show up. Conscripts are already there and getting this done as part of a routine physical.

Whether Antidote's statement is accurate or not it certainly isn't a lie and it's entirely out of place for you to make such a charge. Lying is a matter of intent and it's clear that Antidote's intentions were nothing but honorable.

As for the real facts, the Cal State/UCLA study found that 84% of the male population had erect penises 6" or less in length, 13.5% measured from 6.1" to 6.8" and only 2.5% were longer than 6.9". So, yes, in the real world 6.5" IS considered big.

As for the OP, you really need to get with the program Rhonnie. This is the Internet. You need to accept that 7" is average, that you actually have 9" and that the "huge" penises out there all measure between 10" and 13". Then you can fit right in with the Internet crowd.
