Anxiety?

Hi everyone, I suffer from extreme anxiety and was wondering if any one experiences the same? Sometimes I'm so anxious I can barely leave the house.

I suppose because I'm still young(ish) and was bullied a lot, beaten up for being gay I guess as a result anxiety has manifested from it.

If you suffer from anxiety, do you have any tips to deal with it? I don't take drugs, but I will be honest I do often drink to mask my anxiety and help with my social life. I also have valium from my doctor but I don't like to take it as I don't want to get addicted - plus I want to be a normal person without taking drugs.

Sometimes I think about suicide, I don't wanna be like this anymore.

Very sorry to hear this. Do NOT hurt yourself!

My best advice would be: (1) exercise every single day, especially doing cardio (jogging, biking, etc); (2) make sure you set aside time every day to do things that are enjoyable, plus avoid stressors whenever possible; (3) limit your social media (Instagram, Twitter, even LPSG!), since it’s correlated to high levels of anxiety.

Give those three tips a try for a week; you’ll likely see improvement!

Omg I feel like I just someone I can relate to.. I feel the same way but my anxiety comes and goes. If u ever need someone to talk to just message me bud

My daughter deals with bipolar. I believe partly inherited but also some of her life choices really get her depressed.

She seems to be dealng with it much better these days and she did say that a good therapist works wonders. It's great to have an objective listener who can listen without passing judgment. If nothing else take some if these guys up and let them listen when you need to vent or feel that all is lost.

As A parent, I can not express the importance and value of your life. Even if you believe no one cares.... they really do!
