Was lucky enough to stumble across the Gracie academy in Ca.
Took classes from Helio & Royce.
Royce gave me my first belt promotion .
The whole family is just amazing to deal with.

@AlphaMale and I compete in Spartan Races. Have 6 planned this year including the World Championship in Tahoe.

I've always been an athlete since I was younger.

I started with swimming, soccer, tennis and basketball. Then I eventually got in cross country running. And then around 19-20 I started weightlifting.

Now, I mainly train for the Spartan Races as @Countryguy63 mentioned, which consists of weight training and long distance running.

Play softball now. In HS I played baseball and wrestled. Also wrestled in college.

I do MMA, BJJ and train in a few other martial arts been train for 43 years. It helps keep you fit and since I am 50 about to turn 51 I find it's the best way for me.
