I'll never forget the day I was waiting to board a flight in San Diego. this gay guy was talking and being kinda loud and flamboyant. I remember people looking at him with disgust and moving away from him. I thought he was kinda funny and entertaining. So we all boarded the flight and he wasn't letting up. By the time we all landed, everyone was laughing and listening to his stories, we all exited the plane and everyone was saying bye to him. I watched the whole thing like a social experiment, since I was in college at the time studying just that.
But I have noticed that 80-90 percent of the gay men I've met, have an amazing sense of humor. Is it just me, or do others pick this up also?

Sense of humor and being gay has nothing to do with one or the other .. all people straight gay all have sense of humor

now a lot of people with severe depression use humor to make people think they are fine but underneath .. living in this state of depression sucks because it ruins things you can do but do t want to

robin williams was a comedian and in a lot of funny movies but it was depression that got the better of him and committing suicide so we just do best we can and all being a smile to everyone’s face

No. The correlation is much more likely to be that of the flaming extrovert, male or female, straight, bi or gay. I'm sure everyone remembers the class clowns who were always out there cutting up everyone. Court jesters.

Yes depression but he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's and had been suffering terrible symptoms. I don't blame him at all for choosing to end his life rather than endure the continued unravelling of his brain. The PM showed it was Lewy body dementia but it hardly matters which.

I plan to do the same if I find myself in a similar position.

Alcohol, tobacco, drugs, strychnine? The truest poison is time. ;)
