I'm a big fan of Go. I've been playing for about a year and am 10kyu.

Are there any other players here? Anyone want to share tips and strategies?

Its nice to know people still play board games. That looks really interesting. I am going to do a search and see if i can order that.

Well many people may not know of the game. I didn't till you posted about it. It peaked my interest. I like games that are a challenge. Which means it may take me a while to learn it. So i will find it and buy it.

You don't have to buy it. There are plenty of places online to play it. Yahoo is the easiest, but there are many other sites that let you play Go or download Go programs. I can't post the links right now, because I'm on my iPhone, but I will after I get home.

I would rather buy the board game as pictured in the link you posted. I would enjoy that a lot more.

I don't play, however I want to learn very badly.

I've seen sets available in book stores and whatnot but I've never had the money to buy them. I tried online once awhile ago, but got lost rather fast.
I've heard it can get vey complicated though...is that true?

The plain flat board game isn't much money at all. The table one is a bit high in price.l will send you a pm with a link regarding price and where to get it.

Yes, Go does get very complex. It is arguably the most complex board game in the world, so it makes sense. :p

The thing with Go is that although the rules are very simple, the implications of those rules are very complex. My level is not high at all, but I have a basic understanding of the core concepts. Maybe I can teach you the little bit that I know.
