I write left-handed. Most other activities (i.e., picking up things, stirring or whatever) I do left-handed as well. I golf and bat right-handed. I consider myself to be a true lefty because writing legibly is one of the hardest things to do for southpaws, but it's something I've mastered. Also, I don't hold my pen with my wrist awkwardly bent like a lot of left-handed people, thanks to my right-handed mother showing me how she held her pen.
I jerkoff with my right-hand though. It "fits me" better.
My mother was also originally left-handed and was switched to the other hand at a really young age. I hear that being left-handed is genetic. To me, it's pretty cool and though I'm in my twenties now people still stop me if I'm writing and say "Wow, I didn't know you were left-handed."
I adapted to using right-handed scissors. The "leftie" scissors in elementary school threw me off. If you really pay attention, using scissors should not be a matter of what hand you write with. The thing that did, and still does, get me are 3-ring binders, right-handed desks and some spiral notebooks. I keep thinking, "Ok people, not everyone on this planet is right-handed!! Think about someone other than yourself." :glare:
