I had it corrected when I was very young. I have no idea the severity of the deformity, but I surmise it was only that the head was crooked, due to some lines and veins all looking like they were twisted to the left.

I also have small scars, which are small holes, which periodically fill with smegma (ecchhhh) that I have to clean out every now and then.... these holes are from the stitching or pins, I am not sure. A guy might notice the diferences, because of his own meat to compare to, but I don't think a girl would (or ever has)

Wow....how cool to find this site. I have a hypospadias as well. I'm almost 8 inches in length...which sounds like an unusual thing, having a hypo and all, I guess? I doubt first degree hypsospadias really have any kind of impact on penis growth. First degree is purely cosmetic.

I have first degree hypospadias and I'm 6.75x6 Not bone pressed. Bone pressed I'm probably close to 7.5. I never had corrective surgery either.

According to this thread there's certainly other large guys who have hypospadias as well.

Oh and from what I've read, having corrective surgery before puberty is probably the reason why a lot of men with hypospadias have smaller than average penises.

That would certainly explain a lot, as I don't think anyone in this thread with hypsospadias had the corrective surgery?

So if I have a son with hypsospadias I would not choose to correct it unless it was severe. If it was a mild case like mine I would tell him about it around puberty and let him make his own decisions.

I had a severe form of Hypospadias, had a lot of surgery from the age of a few months, untill my last surgery when i was 6. I'm glad my parents decided for me. Have no problems now, but i think i would have if i didn't had any surgery. i have a nice 7 inches rockhard and with a big head. I like it!

Yeah buddy, i totally understand, that's what happens to most of us hypo guys... i was worried for most of my life with this "secret"... until 28 when i finally had sex with a woman, my today's wife. Funny that this subject would come up. I was at the clinic 4 or 5 months ago, getting my regular testing for STD's. Part of that check up is a pretty close inspection of your dick. The woman doctor who was examine me mentioned that I had Hypospadias. I had no idea what she was talking about. So she takes my dick and twists it so I can see the underside. She points to where my uretha is and explains that usually it is much closer to the tip of the penis. Then she explains that I have a very mild case and that this issue can occur anywhere on the base of the penis. The whole time she is talking she has my dick in her hand as if it is her own personal visual aid for her explanation. Of course I start to get hard and am sporting a pretty good semi before she drops it.

So basically I have gone my whole life without realizing I have Hypospadias. The one thing that it did clear up for me is why I can't pull my dick out, put my hands on my hips and start peeing. I always thought that was because my dickhead curves slightly.

i always knew that i had hypospadias due to the surgeries during childhood as i remember everything. Many guys who are aware of their visual penis-differences at early age suffer from insecurities (corrected or not). Some hide their dick for a lifetime.
