I'm cut, I've been to NY three times, and I love bagels.
Only if you're Jewish.Shalom. My daughter is getting Bat Mitzvahed in a month. Jewish enough?
Those are two totally different things. Both in Europe and in the US, the German Jews did not speak Yiddish and rarely mixed with the eastern-European Jews who did. The marriage of my Austrian-born grandfather to a daughter of Yiddish-speaking parents was decidedly unusual, and probably reflects the sparseness of the Jewish (and especially German-Jewish) population in the western US at that time (90-some years ago).< german-jew....yiddish.:biggrin1:

Size, size ... my kingdom for more size.I prefer basset hounds.
I don't care that basset hounds are bigger than bagels: the important point for me is that they are funnier-looking.Size, size ... my kingdom for more size.
(BTW, it's a big barkin' bagel.)
