I was just thinking if only the guys were as fine tuned on here that the quality of tiny avatar picture was the last thing that could be improved. Then, inevitably, someone makes a comment showing a need for many other improvements before even getting to the fine details.

Wow...I was not aware of this. I've been using Daria for nearly my whole time here and I've never had any warnings. My previous one was Steve Smith (from 'American Dad'), but it was after Stan gave him growth pills and he woke up with some serious boobage...

EDIT: Having re-read the rule, perhaps the keyword is "photo" - maybe the rule doesn't apply to a cartoon/comic avatar.

EDIT nudity has always been banned in avatars, as long as ive been here which is like a decade

so if people WANT to see the nudity, they can go see it but you dont HAVE to see it if you dont want to if youre participating in forums.

US laws regarding the Internet. Genital nudity outside clinical and artistic purposes is deemed pornographic. Pornography must be behind an 18+ warning. There is not necessarily an 18+ warning before access to seeing avatars.

I'm the biggest Meshuggah fanboy you'll find on this side of the internet, hence my Obzen avatar.

When I get an email notification of a private message, I (sadly with lots of excitement) rush to see who the hell put aside a few mins in their 24 hours to say hello to ME.

I think everyone has had the experience of unwanted attention. I learned early on to limit access to me, and to use avatars that did not attract attention. Limiting your accessibility to those that you place on follow can make your LPSG experience more pleasant.

It’s not so much that the underwear bulge annoys me, it’s just that it’s so unoriginal. I like an avatar that differentiates one person from another. I tend to scan through posts and see the avatar before I see the name - I remember the visual better than the text. It’s how I identify favourite posters. Change your avatar before I really get to know you and I won’t even recognize you.

I'm considering changing my avatar to a picture of someone gaging, to best reflect what I'm doing when reading nearly every thread on this website. I'm having a hard time understanding lately why I keep logging back on to here. I feel for you ladies..
