Fender Stratocaster, not sure of the value because I will never sell the guitar. My kids can deal with it when I die.
I just play it for fun now and then. Not good at all, just a pastime.
My biological Father played it in one of Waylon Jennings early bands a couple years.
He skipped town when I was maybe two years old. I have no home memories of him. Guitar picking was not inherited and he was
not around as a Father figure to teach me.
I wish he was there to teach me back then. Only met my Father maybe three times. Seemed nice, but was not a help in bringing me up as a kid. Passed away when I was sixteen. I lived in Iowa at the time, his funeral was in Las Vegas and I did not even have the chance to attend his funeral. His Sister gave me the guitar after he passed.
She told me he picked in Vegas for shows after Waylon.
Never cleaned it up much. Still has some sticky stuff on the back side. Friend told me they used to tape their gig's on back, to see
which song was coming up next. I would have no idea, just what I was told. Still a keepsake and my only memory of my Father, other than a bike he gave me around five years old and ten 1938 silver dollars. (I still have them)
