World of Warcraft - though I'm taking time off right now, but have 5 lvl 70s
Star Wars Galaxies (US server) - 2 traders, 1 Ent, and a Jedi
Wow you're still playing SWG? I was in the very early stages of beta testing, I think I lasted 6 months after it was released. Too many headaches, well that and running missions over and over that had nothing to do with a storyline kinda killed it for me.
I stopped playing WoW the week BC came out, my Rogue made Warlord and I was spent from all the time put in, took a break and never made it back lol.
Bingo...this goes a long way toward explaining my enduring love of CounterStrike...I can always log on for 15 minutes, play several rounds of dust or assault, killing the crap out of people in the process, then log off and be done with it. No bother with gaining experience or seniority or any of that shit.
Yeah that's why my first love is FPS games. You can play as long or as short as you want with no real difference. However, the social aspect of MMOs always drags me in. A decent size group of us, real life friends and those online, have been playing together for 8 years +. So we use it as a way to hang out and talk on Ventrilo etc.
I can enjoy MMO's, but have a general dislike for games that have such a strong correlation between time spent playing and in-game success.
Played Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, WoW (pre-WoTLK), Call of Duty 4, and FEAR.
Currently not playing any... but as you can see I am mostly into FPS.
I still fire up BF2142 once in a while, I'm very much the tank whore in that game lol.
