Your numbers are impressive, but then again, you're fucking huge, man.1,045

I made a mistake on my post (I wish they would allow a person to edit their posts).I only competed in one power lifting meet (drug tested) @ 165 lbs back in the day and only did bench and pushed 365 (with a shirt). My best (raw) was 365 x 3 bench, 455 x 5 squat (ATG), and 455 x 3 deadlift. I really think I could have done a 500 x 1 squat back then but my lower back can't take that kind of weight anymore.
You gotta love a guy who's so completely honest that he feels the need to go back and corrrect his benchpress info by 30 pounds.I made a mistake on my post (I wish they would allow a person to edit their posts).
My best raw bench should have read "335 x 3" not 365.
Still pretty impressive.I made a mistake on my post (I wish they would allow a person to edit their posts).

Those are impressive numbers for one so modest. Great work, Bro!I’d like to try it, but don’t have the equipment/facilities to really get into it. I also wouldn’t want to push too hard without coaching. I have sort of a delicate frame, and although I’ve not suffered many injuries, I think my joints aren’t built for the heavy stresses of powerlifting without some close coaching.
My maxes go: bench 250, DL 430, squat 275.![]()
Dude, looking at your pics, you definitely have the build for it. Your raw numbers might not be in the same league as some of the really big guys, but lifting is really about personal improvements and gains. Go for it, but listen to your body if it tells you that the weight it too heavy.I’d like to try it, but don’t have the equipment/facilities to really get into it. I get it...legs are the part I dislike doing the most but I am most happy I did after its done. Good flat! I'm trying to get to about that.Embarrassed to admit I don’t squat and skip leg day, so I got chicken-leg syndrome going on. But my 1RM for bench press is 425

I’d say it took about two years of benching, after I first started. That’s my plateau. No specific program. Just kept adding weight. I didn’t even attempt one rep max until I was already benching 225 for 20 reps and 315 for 10.425? That’s an insane amount of weight. How long did it take you to get to that and what program did you follow?

Boo hoo....hard to feel sorry for someone pushing up 4 manhole covers on each side of the barBut no matter how hard I try, my biceps have always been mediocre.
