I used to compete, poorly as my bench always sucked (long arms + hypermobile elbows= pain).

I don't compete anymore.

My last meet's weights were

At 190 lbs

Bench- 275lbs (the worst for my weight)

Squat- 575 lbs

Deadlift- 620 lbs (Sumo, I always lift sumo for meets and train conventional almost exclusively)

Haven't competed in a year but here are some estimates based on recent training:

Squat - 600
Bench Press - 510
Deadlift - 585

I compete in 242 but would do better in 220. I just hate cutting.

You are a beast sir.. Nice work

I've always admired the strength. Once knew a guy who could bench 900lbs, no joke. He wore a special vest/shirt. I guess it was to keep his arms from snapping off his shoulders.

Ah, yes. Equipped lifting. At 900 pounds, it was multi-ply. I've known a couple guys in that range. You're right. The gear keeps the weight from killing you instantly.

If you really want to add some thickness or muscle mass to your body I feel power lifting will give you results compared to those who always try to stay in the 10+ range of reps for exercises. If you don't believe me point me towards a skinny weak power lifter....

I'm waiting.....

Didn't find any?

Case closed.
