Well, if you are coming in a couple of weeks, understand and I sure you can appreciate NYC is in the process of opening. The City and region are in the midst of a 90F+ heat wave and there are two beaches on Federal land one within the City, Jacob Riis in Rockaway and a second in Sandy Hook NJ. Both are clothing optional. Both take about an hour to get to; Sandy Hook is south of NYC and easy by ferry or automobile and Jacob Riis is the A train and a bus or a car. The truth is, it is hot out and most people moving about, are not wearing much clothing these days and nights, anyway.

If the East Side and West side clubs are places you enjoy, these are gay places check their Websites, see if they have already opened. Your profile indicates you are straight, try checking with the hook up clubs and places like Labyrinth, Bowery Bliss and Tryst, straight venues have not re-opened to the best of my knowledge but I’m certain there is a straight nude house scene going on, you just have to find the people hosting. My best guess is, with some people still wearing masks and most stores still asking customers, who enter to wear a mask, going nude to a sex club, isn’t top of mind, in terms of comfortability. All niche club operators have taken a hard-economic hit. It could them awhile to reopen, because, when you think about it, without a customer base, throughout the pandemic, they probably lost their leases, or been evicted, and finding a unique space for people to go nude and have fun is something one has to search for carefully. Will people want to go there, when will the business return and add to finding space one needs the money, to start up again, in this post pandemic time, with the Delta variant of COVID-19, infecting people under 16-years old, are not vaccinated. I imagine a great many people are still dealing with the trauma of what we have collectively experienced, and not everyone is ready to bare all to have fun.

Although, I noticed a group going to a spa in Queens on a day and at a time, set aside for men only, if that interests you. It is called Spa Castle, today or tomorrow. Spa Castle I believe has very deep pockets and was the creation of a Korean American named Steve Chon. I am uncertain if he is still the chairman but I take this Korean water park themed spa, as a sign that spas, bath houses, saunas and clubs will all be opening in the days ahead. Along with businesses that traditionally provide a space for nudity, groups and individuals are hosting get-togethers, on their own, in homes here in the City, and elsewhere where people run for the summer i.e. Fire Island Houses, The Hamptons, The Jersey shore, as well as City and summer rentals in the Hudson Valley north of the City.

If your plan is to arrive in two weeks, my guess is that places you are familiar with, or have visited in the past will mostly be open for business if they have not gone out of business altogether.
With little effort, when you do arrive, I bet you’ll find, what you came looking for. Have fun and don’t stress. You still have time before your arrival.
