I am starting this topic because around these parts (rural ATL, Georgia), it is a common assumption that smart guys cannot have big dicks. Sure I am a 16 yrold senior that has taken Calculus twice and is going to Yale, but I also have a respectable 7 inches in my pants. Sure it is no 12 incher like some guys claim on this site, but I think some smart guys are bigger than thought. I know I ain't done, so that 7 will soon b an 8.

Well, I have a Bachelors degree in music and am certified in music and elementary education. I never got my masters as such but have about 6 years of college hours including some 36 graduate hours. I have been a curriculum specialist in one field for the state. I was an honor graduate in high school and pretty much made what I wanted to in college which wasn't always an A. And I come from a long line of college graduates and seven generations of teachers.

But I still can't spell. Darn it.

"A one of my favourites would be that the VW beetle was inspired by a czech car called the Tatra 98 and not a wholly original design by VW. "

I could not find a Tatra 98, but the T 77 and T 97 do have some similarities to the VW. The T 87 was a big luxury car, but the T97 was a small family car, with 508 built from 1937-1939.

The first VW was designed by Dr Porsche, and the first three prototypes were built in the garage at home, in 1936.

After WW2, the new VW Company paid compensation to Tatra.

William L Shirer in The Rise and Fall of Nazi Germany ( 1959) gives some interesting details about the marketing of Hitler's People's Car.

For details of the Tatra see
http://www.team.net/www/ktud/Tatra_history_auto3.html

For early VW history see

spoolworm: You need at least a certain amount of IQ to use a forum anyway. So it's not as if any of us here are going to be idiots. hmmm, hypnotic. *cough* Where was I?

Did you know that the IQ required to get in the spanish army is 5 points higher than that of a dalmation(as in the dog from that lovely *cough* disney movie).

Dalmations are really smart, yes they are, YESSS they are. Here have a biscuit!

Indeed, it was in fact the tatra 97, me and my brain like to mix numbers up. It makes it almost impossible for me to find addresses without having it written down somewhere. Even then it doesn't always work

The first VW was designed by Dr Porsche, and the first three prototypes were built in the garage at home, in 1936.

Again correct, It was always Porsche's dream to build a 'people's car' rather ironic when you think the he is mainly remembered for high expensive sports and race cars.

After WW2, the new VW Company paid compensation to Tatra.

Mainly for ripping off it's air-cooled engine. I think Tatra filed about 3 patent infringements against VW in the end.

William L Shirer in The Rise and Fall of Nazi Germany ( 1959) gives some interesting details about the marketing of Hitler's People's Car.

One of the big marketing tools, Hitler used was it's price. At the time it went on sale it was 990 marks, the equivialant to £80 today. Thus making it affordable to the majority of the population. Though it was actually a higher price than Hitler had originally quoted.

Also, before it was dubbed 'The Beetle', it was called the KDF-wagen, or the strength through joy car. The name was given to the car by Hitler and it was based around the national socialist party's motto.

I was a triple major in undergrad. My degrees were in Political Science (concentration in Law), Sociology and Criminology. I have a Master's in Public Administration and am a candidate for an Ed.D. in higher education administration this May. I will defend my dissertation this semester.

I am actually considering law school as well. Ideally, I would love to work in academia, as I am, but would also like to work in public policy with emphasis on tribal law, goverance and policy.

jay_too, trust me hun.... the light is just around the corner! :D

I am in my fourth year of university as a computer science major at a "reasonable"---not the upper echelon, but respectable---institution, and my current cumulative GPA is 4.0 out of 4.0.

Well I underwent a battery of IQ tests when I was young...but your IQ isn't supposed to change over time...

148

Ironically they were getting me tested for ADHD, which they decided I do not have. I think they were wrong...

My BA is in Political Science (minor is Sociology), my MA is Philosophy (Ethics & Political Philosophy) but history is probably my strongest subject of knowledge.
I'm sure we could have a good chat, though I'm completely unilingual. ;)

I have a bachelor's degree in music composition and production. However, I publish music in 115 languages, although I do not speak them. I only speak three languages fluentlly: English, Pig Latin and Southern Drawl. I work with translators who do the international language work. I am the publisher/editor of the music. I have published about 100,000 pages of music, and composed a great deal of my own music and published it myself. I have a few hundred pieces my own in print in a small publishing company I own, other pieces published by other publishers. My music is performed throughout the English speaking world.

Sometimes I think I am a musical genius, but when I compare my abilities with a few of my friends, I run and hide. But I manage to produce a few things people seem to sing and perform. I'm also bipolar, and so I think that's another reason why I have written music by the pound. Mania is as fun as it is hell. But depression is worse. Bipolars have an illustrious history of contributing quite heavily to the sum of arts, literature and science. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones????? (Not!)

I don't post pics because it could quite adversely affect my work. But I'm a little above average at slightly over 8".

Welcome, and hope to get to know you and all the others who post here.

heh math was never my strong point (at least not here in college). I threw a small party for myself once I escaped the calc sequence and differential equations.

I sense a study forming.
[post=279573]Quoted post[/post]

Whilst most of us know there isn't anything physical that corrolates strongly with penis size, supposedly there have been studys done that show a corrolation between "over"-ture (for lack of a better word) and intellegence (e.g. Einstein was 1 month late)

So how many of you were late births? do you think there is anything in this theory?

bb...

Yea, light is around the corner for those with their stuff together. Congrats. You'll do well in law.

Some of us are going to fumble in the dark a few more years. I can't believe I am trying for an advanced degree....ME, who swore that I wanted to do something practical with my life. When I tried working as an engineer, I was bored outta my skull...80 percent of the time, so here I am back in grad school.
