For those of you who don't get the DNRC newsletter here is a link to 'God's Debris' in PDF format

Scott Adams has decided to give it to fans for free with the idea that if they like it they'll give the shop bought version to friends as gifts.
(He obviously didn't count on tight arses like me giving the PDF via email to friends for Christmas)

Oh, you think that's funny, huh? I used to work at a tech firm, saw an especially hilarious "Dilbert," posted it on the bulletin board. The next day (just at end of shift, of course) I was called in to the manager's office (who, although female, was a clone of the pointy-haired boss), told to pack my shit and go. "Be sure to get EVERYTHING from your cubicle, if you return, we will call security." I kid you not - this actually happened. My reviews had always been mostly excellent; and there was even a policy of "recurrent training" for deficient employees; you first (supposedly) got a verbal warning, then a written warning, then termination. They claimed I had substandard work. I should have fought it, but decided against it. Just be careful about Scott Adams' work in your workplace.
