Depends on a couple of things. Bicep, like all other muscles has a long and short head. It could be a case of working one more than the other. What types of curls are you doing? That'll determine which part of the bicep you are attacking.

I tend to use excersises that will attack both during a workout. My trick is also to superset the part of the bicep I'm working on to exhaust it that much more. I'll warm up, then 50% 10-12, 80-90% 5-6, then back to 50% until fail, wait 10 sec, then 50% to fail. 4-5 sets usually will exhaust the part of the bicep you are going after.

Like mine....but I am now seeing a trend of doing only one set of each type.

Standing bar curls (aka- linebacker curls)
And Of course- it’s best to incorporate a one arm movement too- I like sitting preacher curl -using the cables....constant tension ;)

hey guys, I work out a lot, I'm having a lot of gains, but my arms grow slower than the rest of my body. I got a great chest and great legs, but my arms could be better. I was wondering if anyone has any tips for that. Thanks!

Any updates?

When you do curls also do a full range of motion. I see countless people doing partial reps so they can try and impress everyone with the amount of weight they can move but I doubt they could do half of that weight through a full range of motion. Also using momentum to move the weight only makes your head bigger, not your biceps. For those cheating themselves they may some day injure themselves when they accidentally try to move the weight slowly and through a full range of motion because their tendons and muscles are not accustomed to feeling that weight.

Don't be that guy.

Be the guy who occasionally goes very heavy.

And for me, drop sets are without question the easiest way to add mass.

And the Athlean x YouTube channel is dope as fuck.. He's got shit he's trying to sell I think, but his videos are bad ass.

Agree with much of the advice here, one of the best was...grow the triceps! It's a huge muscle, bigger than your bicep and it makes the bicep look bigger...so blast 'em with pull downs, over head extensions, etc. I also do a heavy bicep work out (concentration curls, barbell rows, triceps, cable pulls, machine curls) with about 8-10 reps, 3 sets a piece. Then two days later, do a shoulder work out and finish with 2 sets, and...hear me out....at like 30% your max curl...and you're going to do 60-80 reps. Yep, stand there with a straight bar, with only like 30 pounds on it and do like 60 reps, no stopping. Then do a straight arm cable pull (up). These will absolutely exhaust the bicep head, flooding the area with red oxygenated blood cells. The cable pulls do the long muscle under the head and help lift it. I do this two days after the heavy lift. Only twice a week, do chest / back and legs the other days. Don't forget to rest.
