I have long suspected that ED medications might have some beneficial effects on women too. Its very interesting to read about how they effect different people (both men and women) differently. I had the good fortune of being involved in a series of double-blind clinical studies on Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra in the late 90's thru the first years of this century, before any of these drugs were FDA approved. Since these were double-blind studies, neither the doctor nor I knew if I was taking the real deal or placebos. I was taking daily doses of the full-strength sized tablets for a 6-month period. With the first two, it was obvious to me that I was taking the actual drug. With the third (Levitra), I was absoutely sure that I was taking the placebo. After the study, the doctor thanked me for my participation by providing me with doctor's samples of the real stuff, which had been FDA approved by that time. The difference in my physiological responses convinced me that I had guessed correctly during the study. I never offered any of the pills to my wife. I'm not sure she would have taken them if I had. But later, I did discover another aphrodesiac that had some unexpected but quite pleasant effects on her. The study doctor later prescibed some synthetic testosterone (Androgel) to help raise my low hormone level. One night, after applying the gel to myself, I went to bed without washing my hands (contrary to the strong warnings on the label). I cuddled with my wife and fell asleep. In the middle of the night, she woke me up, panting, sweating, and horny as hell. She climbed aboard and rode me hard and experienced multiple orgasms. Some of the best sex we ever had. I later learned that this substance was/is being studied for this very purpose on women. Women have small amounts of testosterone naturally occuring in their bodies too. Seems a little boost might come in handy now and then for either sex!
Any LPSG women had similar experiences with Androgel?
