Is this a normal reaction? Is it a sign of an unhealthy cock or is it just the way my body reacts?
Sometimes faster than other times, but ultimately... yes. I'm a one trick pony in that regard, but I try to make up for it by lasting as long as possible
Learn some tantric control and neither you nor your partner will care
Not to worry. That's quite normal, even if it happens with you every time--if, of course, your equipment always functions properly up to that point. It's an individual thing--sometimes shorter, sometimes longer, as Nubstar notes, and different for different men. Can depend on various outside factors, too: whether you're rested or tired, rushed or leisurely, time of day, location, etc. And it makes a world of difference whether your ejaculation is from masturbation or partnered sex. As a gay man, I can't begin to recall how many post-ejaculation subsidings I've seen, and tihe timing is always completely unpredictable. Some immediately, some "intermediately," and some "pesistentmediately". If I'm with an exciting partner and really turned on, I often literally don't subside at all until after another round or until we conclude the session. Many times I've received this reaction: "You're still hard! Don't you ever go down...?!" With masturbation, lacking the excitement of a partner, my interval varies, but most often is quite brief. (I've wondered, by the way, why Viagra warns about a 4-hour-plus boner--but I suppose a chemically induced erection is much different from a lasting natural one, since without chemicals the body can choose its own "deflation" time.) -- So put your mind at ease and just enjoy each trip--you'll inflate again soon enough for the next one.
It really depends on who I am with , how horny I am, how much he turns me on, and maybe also how tired or fit I am at the time. But what DOES almost always happen, regardless of if I stay hard or go soft, is that I need to pee about 5 minutes after I ejaculate. Does this happen to anyone else?
This is very common, in fact I would hazard a guess and say that it occurs with most men.
The reason I believe, is that it "clears" the remaining semen in the urethra before it becomes sticky and harder to remove.
But don't worry if you don't urinate after ejaculation I highly doubt it is a serious problem, although it may affect your aim somewhat .
Yep! Happens to me all the time, sometimes I can ignore the urge, but other times it's like my bladders telling me "get to the bathroom, dammit!"
My head becomes hypersensitive and I go soft
Never noticed it, no. But I do always empty my bladder before beginning a session, in order not to be distracted during activities.
Me too, but if my partner wants to go a few more rounds, I can stay hard as long as I have to. The hypersensitivity in my head wears off after 5 minutes or so, and I think it's quite fun to work through.
same with me. at times i go soft straight after cuming. other times i can stay hard for upto 20 mins. normally i need to pee after cuming and its really hard (no pun intended) when im still erect.
This relaxation after cumming is called the refractory period! It happens in every case, with no exceptions..it is a constrained biological muscle response ; the muscle controlling orgasm must relax in order for another firing to occur. The duration of relaxation can be minutes or hours or in some instances almost instantaneous for a lucky few who appear to remain erect and can cum soon again.
Yup another one shot and flop
53 male here...same as rest,,,except if using Viagra the reload time is much shorter...but have never had an extended erection past ejack...always a good ideal to whiz after sex...man and woman....stops the urinary tract infections...especially after oral...
same here, but there have been times when I've stayed hard. Makes for a great 2nd round:redface:
My dick goes down almost immediately and sometimes it take about 20 minutes, when it takes longer, i can actually fuck again and cum again, but takes alot longer to cum
Isnt this called the refractory period? Normal is to go soft and recoup. Sometimes I do stay hard, but that is more if I am by myself.
