Upon initially finding this board, I thought it was for people who have emotional and physical issues or hang-ups about having a large penis...but instead, I have found it's more of a show-off/brag/hook-up board for guys with large penises/people who want to date (or more bluntly, have sex with) large penises.

It was very difficult to believe that such a board would be taken seriously, as many people don't seem to be mature or open-minded enough to accept that some people with large penises have emotional issues about them, when there are those who legitimately do. Why would somebody who wants to know better ways to make their package more noticeable need support?

I hardly believe that encouraging promiscuity and vainness is 'support.' Wouldn't that behavior just fan the flame of trauma? I'd think if this were truly about support, the members would try to illustrate how people with large penises are HUMAN, not how they should embrace the idea of being a sex toy.

Sorry to be a buzz kill, but really?

I guess the point of this thread is to ask: Is anybody actually struggling on an emotional level with the size of their penis? Scared of being used? Scared that it will get in the way of having a healthy relationship? Anxious about people finding out it's big and being judged by it?

I have read extensively on this sub-board, and some of the other boards (like, clothing, for example...which, after getting to the 9th or 10th page, I could only find snippets and gave up)...I've been on here for a couple of weeks, just reading, and finally made an account.

If I am mistaken, which, I surely could be and hope I am, could you direct me to some of these threads? And I'm speaking of the male point of view, not female, just to clarify.

Admittedly the site doesn't entirely revolve around the emotional problems of people with large penises, and is actually moving away from that to become a more generalised adult site.

There are a lot of threads about people needing support with relationships, emotions etc.

I've tried that, the search function...yeah, couldn't come up with much of anything.

And yes, there are, but they are generalized relationship/emotional issues, not directly related to...that.

I agree, it is more of an adult forum, and that sucks; people with these issues need somewhere to go, right? That, and it degrades the entire issue...it has become exactly what people expect it to be, and people with these issues, once again, don't get taken seriously.

Support comes in many forms. Some people have psychological issues, either inferiority or superiority issues. Some feel good about having large genitals, while others are self loathing.

But, that's only the psychological side of it.

I actually came to this board, searching for underwear options. Yep, actual physical support. I came to discover what underwear options might work to actually hold me in. BTW, boxerbriefs and jockstraps are both good solutions.

As I said, earlier, welcome to the site! Look around, and you'll find something for every taste. You'll find that, overall, the members here are pretty nice people, though a good portion skew younger, which might explain the bias you mentioned.

Well, as with so many things, it's a personal choice. It depends on your requirements, and frankly your size. My penis, while statistically large, is not so "carnival freak" big as some on here. My scrotum and testes, however, are disproportionately large, and would fall/pop out of most commonly available underwear. And, I've got large thighs, so I have to lift my genitals *out* of the way.

The best solutions for me have been a spandex fashion-jock-strap design, and spandex containing boxerbriefs. The ones with a pouch provide room, and the spandex provides sufficient stretch (and recovery) that they provide proper support without causing compression related pain.

I never knew what proper support meant, before coming to this site, and learning what works.

It really isn't. I'm not sure where you get that idea, we have 2 sections of the board dedicated to hookups/showing off and they certainly do not represent the majority of the forum.

Some people with large penises DO have emotional issues regarding their penis size, and if they feel like they want to air their issues here, they are more than welcome to do so, and they have. However, if no one posts about those sorts of things, what are we supposed to do? Not discuss other things? Let the board go stale while waiting for the next well-endowed emotionally scarred guy to come along asking about his penis issues? Life goes on. We discuss other things. We provide support in numerous ways, not just penile. Relationship support, family support, etc.

Obviously people with large penises are human, otherwise they wouldn't be typing. I don't think sex toys have gotten quite that advanced yet.

I obviously cannot answer this question for myself, being a female. But I will reiterate, these posts are easily found among our forums. I have been a member here for 5.5 years and have read and responded to numerous threads relating to emotional issues regarding penis size. They aren't the majority of the threads here, but then again you certainly can't expect them to be. Take into consideration the number of guys that have a gargantuan wang, then the guys who have problems with it, then the guys who have found and created an account on this forum, and then the guys that actually want to talk about it... and you've come up with a very small number.

Eh, this board goes up and down. Especially this section. Some times it reflects the SEX WITH A LARGE PENIS board way too much. Maybe people are too scared, but we rarely have serious discussions.

I think of it as "large penis enthusiast group", which is more general. Enthusiast encompasses support, attraction, appreciation. This site seems to work; It's very active, people are open & friendly, which could be considered support: If I was to have a problem or if I just wanted to chill and chat, I'm sure the community would engage in a positive way.
