vince - can the knee-jerk reaction and read back over what novice said and my reply.
See - novice says 'how can we be everywhere - mo' bettah you report shit' (I'm paraphrasing, can you tell?) - I say 'we do report shit'. You seem to think that I said 'we do report shit and nothing gets done' - I didn't - by showing that I reported stuff and action was taken you are proving my point - members do report stuff that needs attending to. And you are also proving novice's point that when stuff is reported it is attended to. You are missing the key point though that novice appears to be complaining not enough shit is reported and that I disagree because I know I'm not the exception.
Do ya understand now?
That's a different point - but it is part of the deal of having a report button. What fuck more do you want from members - we can't gather evidence and get answers out of people like you can - we have to hit report based on what we see in front of us, or feel about a post.
More mods, smaller quorum. Not rocket science.
This thread did not need to get this long and contain as much bile as it does before the member was banned. I'm far from the only one who thinks that.

Under normal circumstances a post like this would have been left as part of the thread so that there was some form of public record confirming that the member was either banned for being a returning banned member, or for breaking the rules in some other way, since it is part of an active thread, not spam nor made by a minor.
We have however opted in this case, to break procedure because quite honestly, no one needs to be reading this kind of shit, and deleting the post would have removed the reason we have the procedure in the same place.
