What format did you save it under? .MPG .WMV .AVI or what?

    What was the native format?

And how big is the file?

Load the file into Movie Maker. That should be easy since its already in the Move Maker format.

Put all the clips you want on the timeline.

Then hit "Control P" to save the movie file.

    Save it to My Computer

Pick a name for the file and a folder to save it in

Then click the "Other Settings" button. You'll have a large number of format options and different screen resolutions to save under. Pick the one that serves your purposes best.

Once you have the completed file you should be able to submit it to be hosted on a web server such as image shack or other similar host. I like to host videos up to 20 mb in size on my own web service because that's easiest for me.

    That's a big file.

Try experimenting with the "Other Settings" option. There are different formats and different resolutions that may suit your needs that are smaller than 64 mb. For example: You might be able to save the file as a .WMV which is a heckuva lot smaller than .MPG or .AVI. You'll need to experiment until you find what works for you.

There's some freeware out there called Super, by eRightSoft. It converts vid files from one format to another.

When you created the video file, you were given the option to save at less than "optimum" quality. Normally you can reduce the file to half its size without any major quality issues (by reducing the number in the "file size" box; the one auto-suggested by MovieMaker is always for the optimum quality).

.mswmm is not a video file, it's merely a project file, so of course it turns into something larger when rendered into video form.
