I've recently been watching six feet under and enjoyed the first two season, but think the third was awful, but after the third it improved abit.

Anyone else like this series or the wire series? What episode from either was your favorite?

Loved SFU, never cared for The Wire. I'm not sure I can single out a favorite episode out of all of them.

I thought the Wire was great. Hard to say what was the best episode but one of the lasts ones where despite what everyone was fighting for it was business as usual comes to mind. As far as 6 feet under I never did watch the show.

The Wire is amazing. Probably the gold standard for any gritty crime drama to come after it, but it was so much more. It had the kind of depth that most TV can't even begin to touch.

I feel the same way. I enjoyed most of the episodes but the very last one was amazing. I didn't like The Wire.

    I like SIX FEET UNDER.

I like the gay paint ball episode when David (Michael C. Hall is hot.) and his boyfriend (played by Mathew Patrick even hotter) and Sarge (hello, where there is fire bring the fireman, okay?!:biggrin1:) slept together. I saw that episode in Ohio in a hotel.

I got the DVDs later on last year as they were on sale at BESTBUY. (That episode was in that set of DVDs. I watched that episode a lot.)

I haven't seen THE WIRE. Sounds like a good show.

I really liked the first season of SFU and I watched the second season half heartedly, and I tuned into the finale. The Wire? I tried, but could not get into it!

Six Feet Under made me want to have a stronger relationship with not just people in general, but my family. The Wire, however, was the best show on TV. Sheeeiiittt, try and tell me otherwise.

Never watched The Wire but SFU was remarkable for its depth and complexity of characters. Never have I seen characters so well-developed. I think that's much of the reason why the final seven minutes have been called the best dramatic TV ever produced and I agree with that.

Those minutes are, however, entirely useless unless you've watched the show faithfully and actually enjoy it. Claire definitely gets my straight percentages rolling. In a heartbeat.

I think The Wire is the one of the best shows ever made. My favorite episode is the last episode of season four, the one with the kids.

These shows are two of my all-time favorites, alongside NYPD Blue. Several members of both shows have gone on to do other successful things, and that's always good to see.

    Blessings
