Very true. However, I doubt you will find that many women or men, who actually want small penises. Average is one thing, small is another.
Your preference of 5x4.5 is very close to average. Small would be about 4 or less in length and 4.25 or less in girth.
I'm not saying nobody will accept small, but I doubt how many prefer it.
Most would prefer average plus or minus a bit. Meaning within the average range...
