So I am currently vacationing down in the Longboat Key area for the next week (til 10/23) with a couple family members. Sadly, there was a bit of miscommunication and I thought that we had a specific itinerary planned out day by day, but I didn't learn until after we got down and unpacked that it's basically going to be a lazy, do-very-little-week. Since I used up the rest of my vacation time for the year (it won't reset until late February, not a long wait but still) this doesn't agree with me at all.
So, I'm looking to meet some fun people, man or woman, go and do some things to make this week more enjoyable. I can only sit around here in this condo on my laptop or down at the pool/beach for so long before I go stir crazy haha. I think the last I google mapped the area, the closest places are Bradenton and Sarasota, which are maybe a half hour or so but I don't know the area very well at all.
