I was with a guy who was new at oral sex with a guy, and he wanted me to wear a condom. Fine with me -- I enjoy a blowjob regardless. I got some of the mint-flavored Trojans, and he went to town.

They do reduce sensation and taste, but they also make it so I could last longer. (He didn't last too long when I did him. Maybe I'm a better cocksucker?)

I sucked his minty cock, too and it was ok. I just enjoy sucking cock, and while I'd rather it was bare, covered is ok, too.

(He was also surprised that I knew to skin back his foreskin before I unrolled the condom over his cock. Hey, I've got one myself!)

My wife and I use a condom when she gives me a blow job or jerks me off. We do not use any favors, as she said those taste bad. I always enjoy having her put one on me. We have never had a problem.

i have always used condoms for blow jobs.. but now I don't and of course I dont let them come in my mouth. That way it is safer. Of course sucking cock with a flavoured condom does make it more pleasant. But it is up to the guy. It is safe of course when u are blowing strangers.

Some studies show that cock sucking without condom, and no cumming on the mouth, is in fact safer than fucking with a condom.

Most studies data get skewed because it is thought that admitting unprotected fucking is harder than saying you got it through oral sex! This has been proven.

Factors that can increase risk in sucking are HIV viral load, other infections, either STD or NSU, oral hygiene, whether the sukcing is rough (damn face fucking increases risk), ulcers/cuts etc, cold sores in more or on cock.

It pays to eduacte yourself. But choose your source wisely. Some are biased toward having no sex, or having too much sex...

I just wondered if anyone here ever uses condoms for oral sex?

I know the health people say that we should, but I have to admit that I never have, its just never come up, and I never saw any pictures with anyone using condoms for oral sex until today I ran across one.

I know the thought is to prevent disease, but wouldn't this eliminate all sensation, and give the person who is sucking the cock a terrible taste of latex and lube in there mouth?

Wrap it up bro'. and I'll respect you in the morning.

I have to ask why with your wife?:confused:Does she have some STD you are trying to avoid?

unusual means nothing to me, either is possible or not, you dont need to catch it every time someone blows you, one time is plenty enough.

You are so wrong in your thinking. Unfortunately it is all too common.

Do you think any activity involving any form of physical contact can be 100% safe - touching a hard surface someone else has coughed or sneezed on and you could contract swine flu and you could die! Does that stop you leaving your home? Drinking increases some risks, not drinking increases others - you make an informed decision and take your chances.

The only 100% certain thing is that something will kill you one day.

Very few things are impossible. Some things are more likely than others and there is almost always a risk involved in everything we do. To ask for certainty is naive. You need to assess and understand the risks you are taking and make a decision yourself about the risks you are prepared to take. Don't try and pretend there is no risk or avoid risk all together and definitely make your own assessment and make your own decision.

Have never used a condom for bjs, neither as recipient nor as giver of bj. I suppose though, the main thing is to know whom you're dealing with, and if you don't, to take extra precautions or to avoid contact. I've slipped up on this guidance myself, and can think of a couple of times where I put my mouth on the dick of a guy whose recent sexual history I didn't know very well. I regretted it immediately afterward, but was lucky (so far) that nothing bad came of it on those rare slip ups.

As others have said, iIf I am not comfortable giving or receiving a bj without a condom, then I'll either settle for a hand job or just move on.

...and herpes transmission isn't too unusual which accounts for part of the rise in genital herpes. But we prefer to avoid this topic on LPSG.

I was just thinking that as I read this thread. A good friend of mine got it from oral sex - the girl had gotten in her mouth from oral with her pervious boyfriend and didn't know what it was that she had. Thought it was canker sores on the roof of her mouth. She was HORRIFIED when he told her that he'd gotten it from her.

I hear now that about 1 in 5 people has it. I think that might be all forms, but still, that's like almost a quarter of the people in the bar if you think about it.

do you know what are the chances of getting HIV from bareback sex?
Antiretroviral Postexposure Prophylaxis After Sexual, Injection-Drug Use, or Other Nonoccupational Exposure to HIV in the United States

Recommendations from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
its 0,5% for receptive anal intercourse without a condom, and 0,05 for insertive anal intercourse without a condom..

to me 0,05 seems a negligeble amount. but still pretty much nobody barebacks! so, getting gonorea 1-2% of the time i get blown is a big deal. and its not negligeble...

Oh my god of course I use condoms for oral sex. Nothing wrong with them. Male aversion to them is generally always psychological (i.e. you never see them in pornos, or they are using the wrong size condom) I used to be an escort and would never have dreamed of giving it without, anyone who does and isn't 100% sure of their partners sexual bill of health is an absolute fool. The mouth almost exactly the same environment as a vagina (mucosa lining penetrable by countless pathogens, moist, dark and warm), and is therefore susceptible to identical infection, and given oral sex is a two way traffic sort of thing, if the girl or boy you're with has had their mouth clamped round someone else's manky cock unsheathed, then they are going to pass that on to you - ok so you've got things like gonhorrea, clamydia, thrush (causing a rank cheesy mouth), syphillis which are curable, then you've got herpes which although not life threatening are incurable and painful, then we've got Hep A and Hep B and Hep C (last incurable leading to liver failure and death) and HIV (incurable) and also HPV - the human papiloma virus which causes warts, but also has a nasty habit of burrowing into your cells, changing their DNA and causing cancer - HPV is a leading cause of throat cancer - and to be fair no cock on earth would tempt me to risk any of the above.

Not using condoms is STUPID.You can catch HIV, hepatite B or syphilis.Worse, you are VERY LIKELY to get genital herpes as 80% of people have oral herpes. At least 20% of people have a gential herpes and 80% ignore it.A least 1/3 of genital herpes are of type 1 so likely from a blowjob as type 1 is most often on the face.
