anyway, if anyone knows something, please let me know, thanks

Take it as a no. Backpage was a horrible cover for human trafficking. We should all celebrate it being gone.

human trafficking? ive used backpage for 10 years and ive never seen someome being forced to do what they do and none of them were amateur, confused, depressed or didnt know what they are doing. i mean seriously, when i walk in they are like gimme the money and then get naked as if their second nature. how is there human trafficking involved? far as i understand, its girls who do not want to have sex for money but are forced and most of them do not know what they are doing and usually look beat up or depressed. shit, most of those sluts i have seen must have been in the business for ages, they were so good at it.
so whats best now to do for hook ups? tinder? if anything, tinder has teenagers and i think its more exploitive. i bet old men gets teen girls on there all the time.

Backpage Pleads Guilty to Human Trafficking

Backpage.com pleads guilty to human trafficking

Backpage human trafficking charges include pimping, money laundering

It's...literally why it got shut down. Those are just the first three Google results. If you're genuinely interested, there's a whole documentary on Netflix called "I Am Jane Doe" that does a deep dive into it.

but they were trying to shut it down for ages before the charges against human trafficking. its mainly due to the fact prostitution is illegal? you just cant advertise such service so freely without being taxed or monitored. at one point, sexual content was controlled and even taxed by backpage and then government really got upset and found loophole to close them down. the sex trafficking thing, who knows how much is a set up. or perhaps, one case that caused a huge stir and assumptions of massive exploitative business. anyway, the government won! whatever....

You've got it backward. The government had their hands tied because Backpage had the loophole. The government couldn't have cared less that Backpage was making money off of their adult services section. It was viewed as online pornography, like Pornhub is now. It was only once they discovered that minors were being trafficked that the government intervened. And even then the government had a difficult time doing anything to stop them because the Clinton administration has passed legislation basically giving websites complete immunity from illegal activities being hosted there. I'm not quite certain you realize what exactly you are arguing for here. Do the research.

what am i arguing? im arguing about something i have experienced for at least 10 years and there were no minors and i have beed dealing with, and closely associated with this website for all this time. what about you? you read news online and assume everything reported and all articles are 100% honest, no bs?
you tell me, how can i not experience, see it? im very prompt and open about anything illegal or weird going on. i was never going to be part of this shit if that is true! the fact is, its all bullshit and let me tell you something about popular news articles, they add up too much shit. its just as much business to them as that website was.
i stand by what i trully believe, and that is the website was generating a lot of money, it was dealing with something illegal, prostitution, they werent being open and paying their dues aka taxes or whatever else the government was going to benefit and they choose to shut them down.
just answer me this and cut the other crap, why would government allow someone in this country to get so much exposure, profit, without the government benfiting, getting in on the action?

ill tell you this much for sure. if government made prostitution LEGAL like most states have done so with weed right now, they will be controlling and taxing the shit out of backpage. they dont give TWO FUCKS about exploitation of anyone. ONLY if the masses started protesting going ape shit about it, they will be like, yeh lets look into it. IN FACT, in the future when US legalizes prostitution (which they will because people are greedy assholes) shit like backpage will start popping up left and right and if any exploitation of minors occurs, it has to be a HUGE deal for them to at least pretend to take action.
And are you seriously comparing pornhub to backpage?? pornhub is porn ONLINE, backpage promoted something ILLEGAL, prostitution! something they couldnt TAX OR CONTROL.

I doubt this is true. And if it is its a small amount of ads on there. We have our elite politicians profiting from human trafficking. This is a show for us to think we're "draining the swamp" when its to appease the people.

Imagine having the mindset that “it’s just a small amount of child sex trafficking” is an acceptable counter argument for...well, anything.

The point was our govt is running the majority of these sex trafficking schemes don't be so gullible. But if you insist on misunderstanding then that's fine, too.
