Sorry thought I replied to this one, yes I do matter of fact that have been porn stars male and female who have sworn up and down their bisexual but when they retire from porn they say theyre actually straight and that was just their porn persona hell the original NextDoor guys like Trystan Bull, James Jamesson, Samuel O'toole use to talk about how they would hook up with guys off camera and theyre not straight until after their retirement. Not saying there arent actual bisexual and pansexual porn stars but there have been plenty who've lied about being lgbtq until their retirement. Hell one of them Ryan Rockford (loved his fat ass) was bisexual during porn said he loved being dicked down and fucking guys now he's a married, homophobic trump supporter.
I didn't know this about "ancient" NextDoor guys; I always assumed only Cody Cummings and Tyler Torro were str8 among those early 10's ND's exclusives. (And The only gay was Austin Wilde lol).
To be honest I always assumed that majority(like 60%) of gay porn stars are bisexual/pansexual for reasons like actually majority identify as such, also I believe there is fair amount of straight id guys who are actually bi or pan because of misunderstanding of labels( a'la I like fucking with guys but I m straight cause I dont fall in love with them) or just plain denial( imagine being on DL while having gay sex for world to see lol).
As well as gay id guys who say they wish they could do a bi/str8 scene, how much they love fucking vagina and all this stuff.
Also because bisexuality is the widest spectrum on Kinsey Scale; you are 90% str8 10% gay- ur bi , 50/50- bi etc. So I assume its reasonable to place majority of gay pornstars in the grey area.
Now I know there can be plenty of combinations of sexualities/denials/baits on a porn field like gays hiding behind bi label like Markie More, Quentin Gainz or Logan McCree or bis hiding behind gay label like Wesley Woods or maybe even asexuals hiding behind str8 label etc.
So I think str8 hiding behind a bi label is plausible.... But I wonder- if those guys wanted to lie about their sexuality why don't they say they are gay; after all bisexuality or overall fluidity piss off homosexual men who are their biggest audience. Especially those porn "critics" from blogs.
About females pornstars lying about bisexuality I am only aware of Jenna Jameson who said she was totally straight in 2008 interview but it was clearly that she said that to help her Hollywood career where outing as anything other than str8 is career killer(Amber Heard is good example). Also aren't majority of female pornstars actually bisexual?; I read one study from 2012 where 67% of female ps id as bisexual; that almost 7 out of 10.
Most of those guys are Trump Supporters and probably deep into religion just because of their upbringing so its understandable that after ending their careers they will go back into closet screaming god forgive me blahblah.(probably they still screw with guys on a DL or lust after some)
Unironically I think their answers during their porn career were more reliable than after when they came back to "boring life " because they are probably already deluded by religion or some belief, there is strong social pressure from familiy etc.(mind most of these guys are very small redneck towns) while during porn careers they could forget about this, they got attention they were craving, only pressure they probably had was from studio so there is less pressure to lie.
